Mapp · macOS

Everyone knows
where to go.

A shooting map is more than a pin. Build a clear page with the set, parking, access and routes the crew needs, then send a PDF that works on a phone or on paper.

(the location)

A. In the working day

Where Mapp
comes in.

For location managers, scouts and production teams planning the way into, around and out of a shooting location.

  1. 01

    Find the place

Search an address or bring in a saved location. Choose the map view and frame the part of the ground the crew needs to see.

  2. 02

    Make the day legible

Mark the set, crew parking, trucks, catering and access. Add routes, zones and close-up map views without losing their geographic position.

  3. 03

    Send the map

Export a PDF with the production details, navigation links and QR codes. The same page can travel with the call sheet or go up at base camp.

B. The details

A few things
worth getting right.

01

Annotations that stay in place

Pins, zones, paths and callouts stay attached to their coordinates as you move the map. Page elements stay where you laid them out.

02

Directions, without the guessing

Add driving and walking routes with time and distance. Share the exact destination through Apple Maps, Google Maps or Waze links.

03

A library for the next location

Keep locations, photos, contacts and notes together. Bring in CSV, GPX and KML lists instead of rebuilding information from scratch.

04

A page for each shooting day

Reuse map templates and production fields. Add a location forecast, scale, north indicator and a list of the marked points.
