Sidesy supports PDFs with selectable text, Final Draft (.fdx), Fade In (.fadein), Fountain and Fountain-compatible text files. It runs on macOS 13 Ventura or later.
An image-only scan has no text for Sidesy to analyse. Run the file through an OCR tool first, then open the resulting searchable PDF in Sidesy.
No. Script analysis and PDF creation happen locally on your Mac. Sidesy has no account, cloud service, analytics or tracking SDK.
After installing Sidesy, enable its action in System Settings under Privacy & Security, Extensions, then Finder. You can then right-click a supported file in Finder to start a common Sidesy workflow.
Please tell us where the script came from, its file format, what you expected and what Sidesy produced. Include your Sidesy and macOS versions and a screenshot if useful. A small anonymised sample is ideal. Do not attach a confidential full script unless support specifically asks for it.
Sidesy is coming soon to the Mac App Store. The button on the home page will become the App Store link as soon as it is available.
