The Sidesy app

Sidesy is a macOS application for preparing screenplay and PDF documents. The files you open, their contents and the files Sidesy creates are processed entirely on your Mac. They are not uploaded to Parenthetical or to any third party.

Data collection

The app does not require registration and does not collect, store or transmit personal data, usage analytics, diagnostics or advertising identifiers. It does not include analytics, crash-reporting or tracking SDKs.

Local preferences

Sidesy stores limited preferences on your Mac, such as naming options and recently used folders. These preferences stay on the device and can be removed by deleting the app’s local data.

This website

This website uses no advertising, analytics, tracking pixels, contact forms or non-essential cookies. Its hosting infrastructure may process standard technical information, such as an IP address and request metadata, when necessary to deliver the site securely. Parenthetical does not use that information to profile visitors.

Support email

If you email support, the address, message and files you choose to send are used only to answer your request or diagnose the reported problem. Support email is handled through Apple’s iCloud Mail service and retained only as long as reasonably needed for that purpose. Do not send confidential scripts unless requested.

Changes and contact

If Sidesy’s data practices change, this policy and the app’s App Store privacy information will be updated before the change takes effect. Questions can be sent to support@parentheticalapps.com.
